The Town of Poughkeepsie Democratic Committee endorsed Didi Barrett as the Democratic nominee for New State Senator in the 41^st District at its general meeting Tuesday March 23, 2010.

Didi Barrett is exactly the type of person we need in government. She is smart, she is involved, and as a former journalist she explains problems and the solutions without political nuances or excuses.

As a leader in the not for profit community for more than 2 decades Didi understands the difficulties New Yorkers have making ends meet. More importantly having roots in the 41^st that go back 60 years Didi Barrett knows how these difficulties affect those of us living in the Hudson Valley.
