WELCOME
We believe that every resident in the Town of Poughkeepsie, in our county, in our state and in our country should have the chance to get a good education; to work at jobs with good wages; to raise and provide for a family; to live in safe surroundings; to retire with dignity and in the security of their homes and in the community in which they raised their families. We want our children to have the same opportunities.
But today, we are at a crossroads. Our economy is struggling and residents can no longer afford to stay in their homes and community. Residents now demand their leaders find creative solutions to promote the common good. People want candor, accountability, and they have lost patience with elected officials who fail to lead. We can do better. I am pleased the men and women below are running for office to give us a better government, a better town.
